Key Past Events
In February 2017, Doug presented a seminar on branding for The Richmond Hill Small Business Enterprise Centre at the Richmond Hill Public Library. This presentation spoke to small- to medium-sized business owners on why a brand is more than a logo.
In December 2016, Doug presented at the King Township Public Library on a series of digital marketing strategies. The seminar educated small- to medium-sized business owners on the importance of social media and gave insightful information on how to use Google Ads for business.
In November 2016, Doug was asked to speak at the 6th Annual Creative Industries Symposium in Richmond Hill. Over 500 people attended the event from the York Region area, and it was live streamed to audiences all over the world. Doug gave an in-depth lecture on the importance of creating a marketing strategy as opposed to tactics.
In October 2016, Doug spoke to an audience of small business owners in Aurora. The seminar educated small- to medium-sized business owners on why a brand is more than a logo – it’s how your customers perceive you.
Doug presented to the York Region Small Business community on market research. The seminar hosted a number of small- to medium-sized business owners in the York Region area and discussed the principles of market research, asking how well business owners know their customers, their market and their competitors.
