The Challenge

Workplace Medical Corporation (WMC) provides Absence Management Auditing to medium to large corporations in Canada. Marketing this service was difficult, as they needed to get the attention of not only C-Suite decision makers; they needed to connect specifically with CFO’s who were responsible for the financial health of an organization. They had tried webinars, online campaigns, and various other methods, but nothing was gaining any traction to this target group.

 

Our Solution

CreativeWorks Marketing’s approach was to tell a story to this audience that resonated with the potential buyer and accurately convey the benefits of WMC’s Absence Management Audit. Our approach was to interview WMC’s CFO and capture first-hand one of their clients’ pain points, while conveying this message through a case study detailing WMC’s success with Guelph General Hospital. We interviewed, wrote, and designed a case study that evaluated the reasons behind larger absence issues in the hospital, including the associated financial loss with absenteeism, and how these challenges could be amended in the future.

Additionally, CreativeWorks Marketing promoted this custom designed case study through a marketing mix of online and off-line campaigns. Each campaign was targeted towards C-Suite/CFO professionals to whom absence management would be of the highest priority.

The Results

Immediately following our fastidious promotional efforts, Workplace Medical Corporation captured many new leads and gained a highly prestigious contract with a premier gaming corporation in Canada. This contract was obtained in the first hour of promotion, and allowed WMC to acquire the contacts, and subsequent leads, that they desired.
